It's also really, really good for deserts. No one seems to mention that, either. So the world has been turning into a desert? That's just crazy you know

Warm and carbon dioxide is really really good for growing crops to feed people. No one seems to mention that Unfortunately, there's a big downside you haven't mentioned. ( probably, you weren't aware of it ... but farmers all know ) More CO2 does allow plants to grow faster, and larger, but the cost is steep. Since they don't have to work as hard, the plants contain Less Nutrition. This has been known, and verified, for at least 50 years. Fine, ... if you're growing cotton, not so good for corn & beans. If feeding people is the priority, there's another issue to contend with: Bigger People - who need more food than smaller people. How much bigger, how quickly? Much bigger, and very quickly. I used to know a guy who collected antique military items. He had a case with about a dozen WW-1 German officers helmets. You've seen them ... with the spike on top. What was amazing about them was the tiny size ... they'd fit on a grade-school child. There's no way they would fit on an adult of age 21st century. Bottom line: people are bigger today, and need more, and more nutritious, food.

Yes. People were shorter and smaller not that long ago.
My father joined the “Army Air Corps” at 17 years of age while still in High School during WW2. He was about 5’6” tall. The idea was that he was going to be a fighter pilot. He then experienced a growing spurt and was nearly 6’ tall at graduation (which the service waited for him to graduate). They put him in a bomber and he was never made a pilot. He attributed this to him growing quickly. He thought that they wanted shorter guys to be fighter pilots. Who knows?

You're also talking about a case of food enrichment which has nothing to do with climate change of naturally growing crops

When tested against stored grain samples from decades ago ... nutrition had decreased.
It has Everything to do with "naturally" grown crops ... in the field instead of a greenhouse or hydro factory.
Adding vitamins isn't enough ... the phytochemical elements are gone as well, indoors or out.
Many indoor operations enrich with CO2 just to speed things up ... it works.
Do you enjoy Tomatoes that taste like cardboard?

Since your mentioned WW2. Any idea what major agricultural milestone happened in WW2? It's enrichment Actually, it was the discovery of the Krebs cycle. Actually bomb makers found out the they could make fertilizer with all the left over components. Synthetic fertilizer was born. In turn all foods were more nutritionally dense which made people grow just like the plants they eat.

I was told the hormones added to dairy cows/milk have made young women develop more.
I think it might be true because when I was in high school they were not built like they are today.
