What's a doctor do about sunburn cornea. Usually, the condition goes away on its own within a few hours to days. If medical treatment is necessary, your doctor may prescribe eye drops to prevent infection. Seek medical attention if you experience a loss of vision or pain that lasts for more than two days.  |

As I have gotten older it has become more difficult to drive at night. I try to avoid it as much as I can. The oncoming headlights almost blind me. Not sure if there is a cure for it but I have changed my lifestyle to avoid driving at night.

As I have gotten older it has become more difficult to drive at night. I try to avoid it as much as I can. The oncoming headlights almost blind me. Not sure if there is a cure for it but I have changed my lifestyle to avoid driving at night. Yup. The lights are turning into starbursts. Sunglasses do help. |

The cataract increased the glare and made oncoming headlights almost blind me. |

Have a friend who's been hardheaded about getting it done to the point where he will also avoid driving at night. Soon as the doctor says mine are where he will fix them I'm letting hem have at 'em!! What CAD reported for success is what just about everyone I speak to reports. |

For all of you, especially conchy and cad, I have a spare bedroom that faces east. Double bed. Private bathroom. We don't allow cars here, so it's bikes or golf carts. You don't need either. We just walk. Grocery store, 50 bars, 50 more restaurants maybe a 3 minute walk. Or less.
Conchy you can rehab down here, and I promise I won't talk all day. And my girls cook and clean.

Another issue is that people modify vehicles like lifting trucks and never consider re-aligning the headlights.
Do they still align headlights these days? Not even sure that is a thing anymore.

Last time I went to optometrist she said I was getting a cataract. Not looking forward to getting it fixed.
I can't stand anything touçhing my eye.

There was an old conch in Key West that used to say he had Cadillacs in his eyes. He was rightly proud of them. He said he could never afford a Cadillac and now he has two.

This is what I used to do when changing headlamps - used side of house. Also allowed for some adjustment for how you wanted the lights to work - lower, more right, etc. |
