Worked all day, yelled at some people, came home and helped process a hog for bagging and sausage grinding Friday or Saturday. Skeeters and pollen are giving me a headache… I’m kinda grumpy but, I’ll be ok.

Moved crap to the new house, got estimates for all the projects we have to do (garage floor, painting, pavers, fence) then played tennis with the grandkids for awhile. Taking it easy today

Leg wasn't bothering me too bad when I got home yesterday. Got a few things planted in my garden for the spring/summer.

I went with my buddy to run his new boat today. Nice boat and only a few things he needs to tweek. My boat was a different story. I had changed oil coolers on it and the lines had push on fittings. I had to shorten the lines and had trouble getting lines on the fittings. We was 7 miles from the road and I looked back and saw oil all over the back deck. I was able to cut the line again and this time with line being hot and plenty lubed it went right on. Put 4 qt of oil in and continued ride. On the way in other line started leaking. New lines are being ordered. Along with a coupe cases of oil.
My friend had been asked if he could look for a ballon a college student had launched. They had a google map of the site and I had installed a gps for returning to good froging sites. We found the ballon, the gps lied, it said it was 5 foot from my boat and it was only 2.

Drinking beer and icing knees and ankles. Bunch of young bucks at work asked me to start a softball team. After 2/3 practices it was evident that my old ass was the best outfielder, SMH. Been running around that OF like a dog shitting tacks. Took me 5 minutes to stand up out of bed this morning. Youth is wasted on the young.

Washed / bleached 3 coolers and a couple fry pots that were left in the barn.(by an unnamed 19 y/old.) Picked up limbs and such to add to the burn pile. Drove to Keystone to mow my moms place, met with rain and a dead mower battery.🤬 Back home now to grind and bag some sausage and other piggy parts. Trying to make the best of it…. I’m pretty good at dealing with whatever but, if this shit continues Im just going to take a nap.

I Bully net on that flat. I have seen them out there. Couple of the youngsters onboard occasionally paddle over there to do the same. We netted some shrimp in the channel this week. Nothing to brag about though. Were you riding the glades with Radtech on Tool Time, or has he not made it down yet?

Ran from Palatka to Austin Cary ( UF's Teaching Forest ) over by Gainesville where the North Florida Prescribed Burn Association had it's Annual Meeting.........and once the meeting was over.....we had a 2 1/2 hour board meeting.
Got back to Fruit Cove at about 4:30......skinned and boned 3 yellowmouth trout for Louann to sauté in olive oil for dinner. While she prepped dinner I worked on the sheepshead and whiting which will go into the ceviche for tomorrow and Monday........
If the yellowmouth is half as good as it smells dinner will be more than good.......

Tim dropped his boat off at John's for the final tweaking, John is really good with carburetors. Tim or Radtech as he is known is coming back down the end of this week. There is a event at the airboat association with corned beef and cabbage meal and a poker run. Both are great the guy who does the cooking does a great job and the poker run is a true poker run. Not one of the ones where you buy a hand then run around. They have 4 stops you have to run to and you reach into a bag and pull a chip that has what card it is. 5th card is drawn back at the club. We used to have a board with a couple decks glued to it and you would throw a dart. I won a couple times that way. Everyone is invited and if you don't have a boat Coopertown supplies us with a boat and anyone can do the poker run on that one for free. The club is about 8 miles west of Krome on Tamiami trail, or hwy 41. It is open to the public.

Went to a Memorial service for a friend of mine. I've known him since the 9th grade. It was a happy occasion as most of us hadn't seen each other in years. Daughter wrote a great obit for him. www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/kennesaw-ga/david-bramlett-11696617Then back to the house where 4 grandkids spent the night. It's amazing. 10 eggs, lb of bacon, bag of powdered donuts and 2 kolaches for breakfast.

I'm booked solid until mid April.

Coincidence Ferris. I went to a friends memorial service yesterday as well. I first met him in 9th grade when he was riding his Honda 90 and I helped him with an issue on it. He was a cool guy making his way in life as a welder. He’s the reason some young guys became welders and the reason some decided welding wasn’t for them. His deep faith kept him strong during a losing battle with cancer. It was a fine time with food and seeing friends I hadn’t seen in years.
